Colonial Country Club Community Development District

A special meeting of the Board of Supervisors of the Colonial Country Club Community Development District was held on Monday, June 8, 2020 at 8 AM.

Present and constituting a quorum were:

Tony DeSantis – Chair
Joseph Zajac – Vice Chair
Sally Hefti – Assistant Secretary
Giovanna Scuderi – Assistant Secretary
Medge Wahrer – Assistant Secretary

Also present were:

Cal Teague – District Manager
Chris Pepin – Field Manager
Patrick Tohill – Golf Course Superintendent

The following is a summary of the actions taken at the Colonial Country Club Community Development District (CDD) Board of Supervisors special meeting.

The Colonial Country Club Community Development District meeting was called to order and the District Manager called the roll. All Board members were present for today’s meeting. Also present were the District Manager Cal Teague, the Field Manager Chris Pepin, and the Golf Course Superintendent Patrick Tohill.

The special meeting was set for a drive around inspection of CDD property led by the Chair and Patrick Tohill, the Golf Course Superintendent. The tour began by looking at Lake 1 which was recently altered through a permit issued by the South Florida Water Management District. The Board looked at drainage alterations and lake bank stabilization on this lake.

The tour then led to Lakes 3 & 5 which were recently combined into a single lake. New lake designation is still needed. The Board looked at the connection between the two lakes, new shoreline stabilization, littorals, and bulkhead on the green. It was requested that proposals be obtained for expansion of the aerator system.

The Board then proceeded to Lakes 18 & 20 and asked the Field Manager to check the need for planting of additional littorals on Lake 20.

The Board then inspected Lake 14 to see how the littorals recently planted were coming along.

There being no further Orders of Business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:56 AM.
