The following is a summary of the actions taken at the Colonial Country Club Community Development District (CDD) Board of Supervisors ride around meeting.

FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS Call to Order and Roll Call

The Colonial Country Club Community Development District Ride Around Meeting was called to order at 8 a.m. Four Board members were present. Also in attendance were District Manager Teague, Field Manager Pepin, Client Services Manager Dudak, Engineer Wilson, and Patrick Tohill.

SECOND ORDER OF BUSINESS Approval of the Agenda

The agenda was accepted as presented although there was no motion.

THIRD ORDER OF BUSINESS Audience Comments on Agenda Items

There were no Audience comments on Agenda items.

FOURTH ORDER OF BUSINESS Community Assets Inspection

The Board and staff conducted an inspection of CDD assets and projects.

A. Visit the lakes where golf course construction impacts are being seen

Patrick Tohill led the golfcart procession to review the renovations work affecting CDD shorelines and easements in multiple areas, modifying shorelines and slopes, placing sod, and littorals: Lake 15, Lake 11, Lake 27, Lake 23, Lake 24, Lake 1, Lake 18, and end of Lake 6. Gaps in the turbidity curtain were pointed out, and Mr. Tohill said he will have them fixed. The golf course construction is on schedule to be done by August 26, and the September Ride Around should be possible.

B. Visit the boardwalk to see repairs

The tour also looked at the completed renovations at the Boardwalk, noting the Cypress tree trunk that is raising the walkway in one area, and will need some sort of remediation: either cutting into the trunk, if permissible by ERP, or by cutting deck boards to provide a wider berth around the tree.

C. Visit Lake 11 to see shoreline repairs

This item was covered above, and was visited to see where the sod still needs to be installed over the berm restoration.

The tour noted a degraded catch basin on the corner of Colonial Country Club Blvd and Hemingway Lane, where the concrete collar is raised up and the iron grating is rusting out. Grinding the edges of the collar to reduce the bump of driving over it, or raising the surrounding areas were discussed.  The grating should be replaced.

FIFTH ORDER OF BUSINESS Supervisor Requests/Comments
