The Colonial Country Club Community Development District Special Meeting was called to order and District Manager Teague called the roll. All Board members were present. Also attending were Cal Teague, the District Manager, and Chris Pepin, the Field Manager from Community Field Services.
SECOND ORDER OF BUSINESS Ride Around
The ride around began with the inspection of the “GFT” lake bank restoration project:
The Board, District Manager Teague, and Field Manager Pepin surveyed the lakes that are being repaired. They surmised that the repairs are going well, but they still need to be sodded.
They noted that the spike rush on Lake 40 is too wide.
The second location inspected was at the Gateway Canal:
The Board looked at and determined that any noise abatement at the Treeline Crossing is the responsibility of the HOA.
The Board looked at a drainage issue behind 10113 Colonial Country Club Boulevard, Building 2204. The Board agreed to have Chris inspect these areas and provide a recommendation, using the Engineer, if needed, to remedy the problem.
On MOTION by Chair Zajak, seconded by Supervisor Hefti, with all in favor, the Board approved having Field Manager Pepin research the irrigation system in the area of 10113 Colonial Country Club Boulevard, Building 2204 to enlist Engineer Marshall for a drainage resolution, not to exceed the amount of $5,000.
The Board also looked at the upper wetlands and agreed to have Field Manager Pepin cut back these areas, where needed.
The final area inspected was at the Butterfly Gardens:
The Board determined that extending the irrigation in these areas was acceptable for both butterfly gardens.
THIRD ORDER OF BUSINESS Adjournment
On MOTION by Supervisor Klein, seconded by Supervisor Scuderi, with all in favor, the meeting was adjourned at 9:39 a.m.
The Next Regular Meeting will be on June 27, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
